Tips and Tricks: Complete Scan and Send jobs Faster with One-Touch

Speed up the process of using the Scan and Send feature by creating a one-touch button available on all Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE models.

Creating a one-touch button eliminates the process of searching for your e-mail in the address book each time you utilize the Scan and Send feature.  

To create a one-touch button complete the following steps:

1. Press [Scan and Send] →[One-Touch]
2. Press [Register] → Select a one-touch button to store or change→ Press [Register/Edit]
3. Select the type of destination to register
   1. If you Select [E-Mail]:
      1. Press [E-Mail].
      2. Enter a name for the address [Name].
      3. Press [One-Touch name].
      4. Enter the name you want to appear on the button → Press [OK].
      5. Press [E-mail Address].
      6. Enter the e-mail address → Press [OK].
      7. Select one of the following for as necessary→Press [OK].
         1. Divide Data [ON] separates each scanned page as a new E-Mail
      8. Press [Close] → [OK].

To delete a one-touch button complete the following steps:

1. Press [Scan and Send] → [One-Touch].
2. Press [Register] → select the one-touch button to delete → press [Delete].
3. Press [Yes].
4. Press [Close] → [OK].
